Here is an update for Lottie.
As posted elsewhere on the forum after all the problems with the cylinder head and other issues I had a test run of 27 miles before Cymru 2016.

During our holiday there Lottie covered 390 miles getting better and better each day.
Today we went to see my friends in the BMW Club at the start of the monthly run from Devil's Bridge in Cumbria and I had a good run back with Lottie.
The fastest speed recorded on the GPS was 66 MPH (105 KPH) over a fairly long distance on a level road the machine running very well. 
Now I will give her a good polish ready for our next run.

Seems that bike has returned to her previous strength...pretty impressive, I must say...but knowing the owner this was only to be expected.... congratulations ....

I am still working on getting Bàrbel back on the streets before the first snow comes....looks as if this will be a challenge...
