R27 gearbox cleaning ?

Hello All,

The gearbox of my R27 works good and the former owner overhauled it so there is no need for repair.
It is the third time now that I change the oil and remark that the oil on the filling side is clear and when I
drain it the first 100-200 cc is black.
It looks as if there is some deposit in the gearbox and I would like to clean it out.
Does anyone have experience with this?

Hey Jom,
take "diesel" or gasoline a few times (and if possible, shake it[the gearbox])

Hi Rolf,
Cleaned a few times the gearbox with 100cc gasoline and what goes in is as clear as what comes out.
