What is the correspondence  from the original switch to the pal switch?Number to  number?

PAL is simply the manufacturer´s name of an existing switch:

PAL SWITCH GEAR & SPARES

Proprietor is Mr. Mohinder Pal Sharma

A direct correspondence is NOT possible because the numbers in the R25
schematic correspond with the German vehicle electrics numbering system:

I have come across the very same company during my search, but do they really make a switch so unique that giving the manufacturer's name is sufficient to identify the product right away all over the world, only in the dark centre of Europe nobody would know about?

@fidel: Our problem is not so much missing imagination (as you might have guessed from the first answers )-we simply haven't a clue what that switch is supposed to do...could you please enlighten us?

Oh yeah,
it seems PAL means Power & Light.
So correct Connection maybe a question of trial and error. Look at the answer above  (odeon8).

The switch seems to be from a JAWA Cezeta scooter. Maybe you'll find a wiring diagram for one of those machines detailing the function of the switch? Google might be your friend...

The function of the switch can easily found out with a "Ohmmeter" (Resistance...."prüfer" auf englisch?"
The problem is the fact that these thing is for Diesel or 2 Strokes with magnetic ignition mostly without charging.
the numbers are the same as for the R 25...but it also missed some numbers...61 par example...so it is necessary to take a few extra switches for Batterie ignition AND the generator...not very easy...but practicable

"Ohmmeter" or better "Widerstandsmessgerät" = "Ohmmeter" or "Resistance tester".

Alternatively, you may use a "Durchgangsprüfer" = "Continuity tester", which is a simplified version of the resistance tester indicating continuity with a light signal or a buzzer.
