Relax...in other forums this behaviour really might have been considered as "spam", but around here it is an essential part of the highly respected forum-culture...without it topics would contain only 25% of the messages and roughly 100% less fun.

As far as I can tell your initial question has been answered with messages ("Antworten") 12-14, once you had enlightened us about the obviously uncommon (at least for us) abbreviation PAL...from then on the thread has been seen as "strictly high level nonsense", especially as you didn't provide us with some feedback on the topic during the last sennight .

If you have further questions regarding your switch please don't hesitate to post these here...we certainly won't be offended if dragged back to the original topic and will try our best to provide you with the information you need.

Hello BenW.

No, sorry...its a somewhat archaic word that appears every now and then in the books I am reading (among others Bernard Knight's "Crowner John Mysteries")...you certainly know fortnight as describing "two weeks" (short version of fourteen nights)...sennight is just "seven nights", a week...both date back to the old days when time was not measured in days but in nights....
