Hello All
This site has several einzylinder parts for sale:
http://stores.ebay.com/Indonesian-Bikers_BMW-Parts_W0QQcolZ4QQdirZ1QQfsubZ3QQftidZ2QQtZkm They show the R26 and R27 header pipe as being the same but all parts books I see show them as not. :Zeitung: ???
Also they show R26 and R27 sidestand as the same, but I think :oberlehrer: the R25 and R26 would be the same.
Does anyone know??
Garnet :blumen:
Hi Garnet,
I had a quick look in the electronic parts catalogue. The centre stand for both bikes appears to be the same (46 52 4 028 002) but the header pipes are different - 18 11 4 090 019 for the R26 and 18 11 4 090 067 for the R27.
The parts look like a local remanufacture though, may or may not be what you want.
Dave.
Hey Granet,
trust the spare part book!
the sidestand cannot be the same as the R27 has no enginebolt to fix them as at the R26.
Normally sidestand were fixed with this bolt.

Hi Garnet,
as Dave (and now Rolf) did already say.
Header pipes of R27 or R26 have are quite differently bent. You definetively can't use them vice versa at all.
The Seller also has a "corrected" offer with the same picture:

The sidestand is selfconstructed, but interesting:
It's a right(!) sidestand.
It look's like to be fitted on the front right sidecar mount and on the lower engine mount (R26) or (perhaps) on the footrest bolt. In the latter case it will fitt both (R26 + 27). The proportions are hardly to estimate.

Thanks Guys, :applaus:
I think I'll pass on this stuff.
