Yes,
before he accelarates and the frontwheel rises up ;D
Garnet, we in Germany use the blinkers for leaving this street to another direction :-*

Nevertheless, it is much safer to have turn signal ((i have them too), especially at night or bad weather, where other criminals couldn't see your handsignal.
I have on my 25/2 old style turnsignals (watch  the Fotosection) and on my 26 the normal Hella Ox eyes, this was made normally by the drivers since 1960, because it was safer and (!) make the Motorcycle looks more modern.

Thomas,
no, he did refer to this one...

@Ser

I guess that Thomas and I think more alike about car drivers, but I do give your signal to other oldtimers ;D.

@Rolf

I have turn signals on my zweizylinder... they are shaped like spotlights on the front and are built into the paniers on the rear. Are the Ox Eyes bright enough in 6V to be seen during the day?

Rütz

Hi Garnet,

they are bright enough, no question, they are regulary certified as frontblinkers till today in germany.
But from rear view they may be hidden through luggage, sozia or Driver himself at certain angels.

Therefore, if you want to use them in germany on a newer bike (1980-> or so), you have to fit additional rear blinkers.

@ Rolf - "Paka" is Russische for "see you later" as said to a friend.
