Cylinder head problem

Hello everybody!I have to replace the cylinder head of my R 25/1 and I came across a sightly different one (probably by a R 25/3 )Are they <<compatible>>?Also the cylinder it used to have has a long sleeve but I found good one (used)with a shorter sleeve .Will that  be a problem?

Hello Giannis,

they are not identical !

You can have an overview about all the bike´s differences
in Tassilo´s famous list !

Simply uncheck all items except Zylinderkopf and Basisdaten -
and the Models not wanted like R24 and R26.

The list is not complete but will be updated by time.

The head difference between the /1 (which really does not exist -
it is a simple R25) and the /3 (which I have) ist the intake diameter
(22 mm on R25) and 24 mm at the R25/3.
The combustion chamber is "8" shaped at the /3.
There are some more differences like the oil distribution in the head.
