Iff you knom him, have you an opinion ?
Is he make a serious work ?

Have you tried emw-r35.de ? There is plenty of help there, in German and English and probably French too.

I had my R35 crankshaft rebuilt in England (new big end bearing). Is that possible in France?

I think pre-war crankshaft is different from post-war.

Hello Charlie,

Actually my engine is with a professionnal in France.
I bought a new big end bearing in lithuania but he can't use it with the other spares.
It's difficult to find a professionnal in France and I don't want to be angry with him.
Th only solution I have is to buy a new crankshaft for finish the work.
Onkel sell a new one for 875 Euros.
But I'd like to know if he's serious.

I know him and years ago I bought some spares for my BMW R 35 . Do he do serious work? I´m afraid no body will really answer you this question. I got my crankshaft at this place https://www.oldi-tuning.de/ and I was convinced by their work. But I think they asking you for a crankshaft in exchange. Get in contact with them.

BTW: "Professional" welding ALWAYS requires proper preparation, e.g. a V-groove.
