Fixing the Tank

Well ,what do you think(all) about the pictures below?
We heave problems with some holes and rust below the holder of tank rubber.
1.We carefully detach holder and fix all leak spots.
Dad make's  a little bolts (m5),and I braze them under the tank with a small help off wire.
For my opinion this is a permanent solution for fixing tank!
Chemicals are not friendly and fast way to fail..

Good idea!
I've welded the parts and hope it works for another 50 Years ....then it isn't any more my Motorbike (i am then 103)...your tank will stay for 123 years!

It's a nearly perfect solution, if you manage to protect the tankrubber plates of capillar water suction(?).

It looks very good.
