Good Morning Einzylinders

After many days of strong winds and heavy rain we have again sun and warmth and dry roads. :dance: My bike keeps running better and better ;D.

The old mechnical voltage regulator is giveing trouble when hot. The main contact on the top opens when below 3000 rpm and I must rev it to about 4000 to make it close again. This only happens after at least an hour of riding.

I have decided to change just the regulator rather the whole system (I have spent too much $$ already). I am looking at these two: http://www.eregler.de/ and   MZ-B. Has anyone used either or is there somthing better.

Greetings

Good morning Garnet,

a good and a cheap way is the electronic regulator from:

http://stores.ebay.de/Zofia-s-Oldtimerelektronik-Shop

Markus had this regulator in his R 25/3 and he was very content, i will use this type of reg in my R 26 too.

@Heiko

Thank you for the tip. I just missed one today. It sold for 28E, I was trying to bid higher but could not type fast enough ::).

I have never used Ebay before and it was fun bidding in the last seconds.

I finaly got around to installing my new E regulator from http://stores.ebay.de/Zofia-s-Oldtimerelektronik-Shop and it works great. :dance: They sent instructions in English and answered my silly questions via email quickly.  ;D
