Hi everyone,
I've nearly finished rebuilding my R27 crankshaft but have hit a problem. I can't tell from the parts drawings, for certain, which way to press on the drive sprocket (11210016500) or which way round to fit the spring washer (11210016120). I don't want to guess and be wrong. I took many photographs when I stripped the engine but not these two pieces.
Can anyone tell me which way to fit these two pieces please?
Thank you in advance,
Chris.

Drive sprocket should be heated up to 150 °C and quickly pressed on the shaft. Have a look, that the position is correct - there is a woodruff key. Check if the height of the woodruff key is not too high (comparing the sizes).Towards the spring washer - the side with the "teeth" must show to the piston side

Thank you Bernd. Which way should the sprocket press on to the crankshaft though? The shoulders either side of the teeth are different widths. I think the larger width shoulder should be near the piston.
Regards,
Chris.

That is correct - the larger width should be near piston.
