Hi there.
Is their any different for the flywheel on R 25/3 & R26

Yes i know that site, but i was thinking.
When the crankshaft is a 180 degeresse the weight of the crankshaft must be heavyer than the 90 degeresse crankshaft on late R 26 and R 27
This could explaine the different in height and there bye weight of the flywheel.
Now i have changed my Crankshaft from the late model 90 degeresse whit light metal conrod to the old model 180 degeresse whit iron conrod, and i will just be sure to get the flywheel that fit this configuration.
Dont want any vibration if i can.

Not sure what you mean with 180 degrees or 90 degrees...and to my understanding the weight of the flywheel will only affect the ability of the engine to in- or decrease revs, impact on vibrations seems to be a little bit farfetched (apart from maybe dampening effect due to shere mass) as the mass is evenly distributed and cannot compensate for weight changes of the crankshaft or the piston rod..

If you can eliminate vibration, you will have found the 'Gold' at the end of the Rainbow.
Vibration is a design feature, reduced yes, but not eliminated. There is the well known quote in England.
In the 1960's Mr. Vic Doswell, a 110% 'fan' of the singles asked an 'top man' at BMW, 'How do I eliminate vibration?'

I was wondering a bit as well, but finally figured it out: "180" is the "newer" steel con-rod crank shaft with 180 degrees tangentials of the crankweb edges, "90" the old one with the aluminum con-rod and 90 degree tangentials.
