Carburator BMW R26,

hi,

I was so lucky (?) to find a reserve carb for my r26. My original carb is a 1/26/55 with 11 grams "floater"
the new bought model is a 1/26/55 and is a little better on the throttle slide. so with installing the electronic ignition and several other things the 1/26/55 carb is used.

this carb has a 7 grams  floater. is that ok. what I on info can find is this so.

the machine gets while starting a bit too little fuel.. I read some articles about a little bigger idle jet. has anyone experience with it?

I have to check to the spark for the color, just starting to drive this season.

Hi marty,

nessecary to know which jets are inside the carburetor! May be, the ones which are installed are wrong and they should be changed

o, yes o course i checked ant they are standard and for the 2 carbs the same.
