Anto

Hello,
I nave a problem with auctions and rockers. The previous owners of the r25 / 2 have mounted a cocktail of different parts on the head. Two different valves, a shortened valve, different stops. So I bought the original new valves, the springs and the valve stoppers. Mounting everything I realized that now the temples are longer than the previous geometry. so I can't screw the bilnceri correctly. I then bought the short auctions from Uli ..... now these are too short. I followed the indications of the Taz table for new valves and valve guides redone. Will you kindly give me an explanation? Thank you

Hi Anto,
I don`t believe, that there is everything allright.
Please, make a picture that shows the rocker arm in full view.
And furhermore: How long are the tappet rods?

Thanks.

Clemens

Hi Clemens,
Thanks for the reply.
1) - The rods fitted with the old valves are 182 mm but the new exhaust valve remains pointed.
2) -The bought auctions are 172 mm: too short.
3) - From the general table of Taz they should be 185: point 1 would get worse

The valve seats have also been replaced in order to lower the valve 1 mm but without appreciable results.
I'm attaching some photos. Hello and greetings from Antonio
