Automatic Forum Translation

Greetings All,

I joined this forum in August 2021. I use Google Chrome on an Android tablet to browse the forum.
When I  first was viewing the forum Google would always offer to translate  from German to English for me and there was an option to have it happen automatically. This worked very well.
After one of Google's many "improvement" updates the automatic feature disappeared and I had to manually translate every page. Very frustrating.
Today I was finally able to get get back to automatically translating the forum.
The solution for me was to change my default language in the forum to German.
It seems that Google Chrome would see the few English words at the top of the pages and began deciding it was an English site that did not require translation.
This was my solution. Your results may vary.
