R20 main light

Hello,what is right specification of main light for BMW R20/1937 ?
Is it Bosch EAS150?

You are right, it's a Bosch EAS 150 2 T 45 head light.

...and what about lightening of speedometer R20 ? Was it part of electro instalation or not?

Sorry, I haven't any direct answers to those...there is a source in Germany (currently sold out, but there's hope, I guess): https://emw-oldtimer.de/Kabelbaum-ohne-Bremslicht-mit-Schaltplan-fuer-BMW-R20-R23 where you can get the wiring harness incl. the diagram...this should answer the speedo light question as well.

have a look at the R23 handbook - there you can find a wiring diagram which is also valid for the R20

correction: the wiring diagram can be found in the document


as far as I remember (I'm about 4000km away from my R23) there is no special light bulb for the speedo - it is lightened indirectely by the parking light bulb

i don'T know exactly the R 20-----but for the most prerwar machines there is only a cut - off in the refelector which illuminates indirektly the odometer ( which has a cut off too)
