I started a thread on the refurbishment of my R27 some time ago but there was limited interest in the thread. At any rate, the bike was completed earlier this year and taken for a nice ride today. We enjoyed a wonderful Fall-like day so the ride was superb. I couldn't be more pleased with the way the bike turned out (other than a small problem with idle):

Hi Steve from England (UK).
Thanks for posting, your post set me thinking.
I also have an R27 but that has been languishing on my workbench for the last 3 years.
I think I'm slowly getting around to find time during my long layoff with sickness for finalising the electrical problem of no spark..
Nice one Steve! Enjoy :juhuu: :bike:
Hello Steve.
She's a real beauty... :applaus: Enjoy the ride :bike:
Kind regards, Taz
Congratulations, a nice ride is a huge reward for all those restoration hurdles!
Nice picture, by the way :)
Very nice Steve.
