Hi All

Just a quick question;

On a Standard 6V generator what is the maximum amperage output.

This is for my 1958 R26

I've looked everywhere but to no avail.

Hi Brian,
the R26 generator can support a nominal/effective power of 60W, for short time approx 75W.

60W = 6,8V*8,8A this is a value from a good generator.

Hi Brian,
it will work, if you follow the manufacture instructions..
It is nessasary to measure correctly the field leads, to identifiere them.
Be shure what you are connecting.
If there are probs, you can send me your parts.
It will take 14 days, then you get them back.
Over many years i repair thoses generetors with those regulators for the people in our community.

Thanks for the offer but it has already been done by Rolf.
I just need to fit the coil and the regulator.
