I've been investigating why the charge light does not go out when the engine is running even though 7 shows on the regulator.
I have studied the wireing diagram and things did not make sense and I realised that the charge light will not go out until the neutral light goes out so when the neutral light is off the chargeing light works as it it should.

Is this correct?

Has anybody fitted a diode to make it work the same as an airhead?

Thanks Brian

Not correct....the 3 wires for neutral und charging are right ?

Brian,

From Terminal 15...6V +... on the middle terminal. From the red light to 61 on the regulator and from the neutral light to the switch in the gear box.

Thank you Heiko and Rolf.

I am certain mine is connected correctly. The same as Heiko said.

Question.

Will the generator light go out when the gearbox is in neutral?

Thanks Brian

Thanks Heiko.

Rolf repaired the generator, so I was checking my warranty.
