Hallo zusammen!

Dennis

Dennis,
This shop isn't bad, but also not special. I go there often since it is close to where I live.
Don't think that they are better or cheaper then Stemler or Ulli's.

They do have a relative good repair shop or know where things can be fixed good and I do believe that the average repair time is not that bad as compared to Stemler.

Bit hard to compare; depends a bit on what you are looking for.

Hi Ser,

thanks for the information!
I already imagined that the description of the company was a little bit exaggerated . Now I know from first hand if this company is ok or not!

But I think the comparison with Stemler is not fair, this company should be very, very slow, I heard.  ::)

I don't look for something special at the moment, I'm just looking for some cheap alternatives to fix my R25/3...!

I hope my english wasn't too bad...

P.S.: If you find some spelling mistakes in my writings you can keep them!  ;)

Perhaps a mix-up; Stemler is slow compared to hobbyist.
as an example:
Stemler estimated  6 months for a complete overhaul of my gearbox. Mainly due to too much work in progress.
Hobbyist estimated 2 weeks
In the end I did it myself in 4 weeks

They both roughly sell the same parts. Stemler is a bit more specialized in new made items. Hobbyist perhaps has more second-hand

They are both not cheap; they both must be shopping in the same barn.
I don't think there are any cheap shops arround anymore, perhaps only the former east-block repro sellers

Hope this helps
Ser

ps Didn't find any spelling errors

Hallo zusammen,
