Is there an alternative way to lubricate the R25/3 contact breaker cam?
I checked Lottie for another members question and found out that that felt pad spring had broken and fallen off.
The holding screw for the condenser had also fallen out and the condenser was loose.

Hi Bill,
a broken felt pad spring often happens.
Don`t worry. The pad ist not really required.
To lubricate, you`ll need the right grease (Bosch FT1V4).
Than the right position to place a little clump.

Think: the rotating part ist oval. The contact breacker only "hop" one time.
A little clump behind it. I mean behind the contacting part of the contact breaker.

You understand?

Following my post below I decided to try an idea I had.
I found an old stainless steel coffee pot in my scrap bin and cut a piece out of it.
Then I shaped it to fit on the holding bolt of the points back plate.
Next I cut a piece of felt then riveted it to the shaped piece and assembled it on the Lima as shown in the pictures.
The pressure of the felt pad is very light and the cam has a small amount of grease applied to it.
